Kamshet

A two and a half hours drive from Mumbai, Kamshet is a picturesque hill station in the Western Ghats. It is a paragliders’ paradise and features in the top 10 must visit destinations in India for adventure enthusiasts. We were in Kamshet on December 2nd and 3rd, 2017. Fresh and crisp mountain air immediately welcomed our arrival. Our stay at Native Place, a boutique resort on the side of a beautiful lake, was just the serene place one would want to relax at after a day of paragliding and trekking.

Here's a video of our Kamshet Trip. For our visually impaired friends, do look up the video on YouDescribe, for here we couldn't incorporate the audio descriptions. Just to give you a broad idea of the video, it captures a bit of the drive to Kamshet, and then has mood shots of all our friends. Siddhesh is getting Tony acquainted to the resort. Tilak can be seen relaxing on the hammock and Chetna in her tent. Rahul and Divya are appreciating a creeper together, Ritu is sharing a laugh with Tilak, Tony and Chetna. Beena and Chetna walking under the red canopy of flowers, Shiv getting Tony his lunch, six of us on the trekking trail where Biswajit's travelpal is busy on the phone, Shubham gearing up to paraglide and then taking-off and another of our friend making a smooth landing.
