These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between you, the passenger, and us Bat Travels by booking a trip, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. They outline, among other things, our cancellation policy and certain limitations of liability. Please be sure to carefully read these terms and make sure you understand your and our rights and obligations. We strongly recommend you to purchase travel protection. We reserve our rights to update these terms as and when required without prior notice. The Term “you” refers to the customer visiting our website, booking a reservation through us or otherwise using our services. The term “we”, “us” and “our” refers to Bat Travels.

Application of these terms and conditions

These terms and conditions, together with the terms set out in the Booking Form and any further terms and conditions notified to you by us prior to your entering into a contract with us, including any terms and conditions in our brochures or on our website which are relevant to your booking and any other terms which we both otherwise agree will be binding on us and you once a contract is made between us. A contract will exist between us once you have made your booking with us, paid your deposit (or such other fee as may be appropriate, for example where you are making a ‘late booking’) and we have issued you with our booking confirmation. Our contract with you is also subject to any air carriers’ terms and conditions of carriage which you agree will be deemed incorporated in our contract.  We sell a variety of travel related product from different suppliers and service providers. Each Supplier and service provider has its own terms and conditions that are applicable to your particular arrangement in addition to our general terms and conditions. You should read these terms and conditions carefully. If any part of Our Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, then the remainder of them will not be affected and will remain valid and enforceable.


For the purpose of Enrollment it is necessary that you must first register by filing in a registration form available online or through post. Every person registering with us should be of 18 years of age and above, should be of sound mind. The person making the booking is responsible for its own actions. We reserve our right to decline registration if the facts mentioned in the Enrollment form are not correct or you have failed to comply with all or any of the terms of Bat Travels without notice.

Reservations and Payments

A deposit of at least 50% (of the cost of tour) per person is required to secure your reservation. To secure reservations on a trip departing within 30 days, a full payment is required at the time of booking. Payment of your deposit indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Final payment for all trips must be made in full to BAT TRAVELS at least 30 days prior to departure. Reservations will be cancelled if final payment is not received by the due date and cancellation charges will apply. Tour prices stated are per person and based on double occupancy. Every effort has been made to produce pricing information accurately. We reserve the right to correct errors.

Any deposit from your end is non-refundable. Payment of a deposit enables us to hold a reservation for you but does not guarantee the price. The price will be guaranteed once we receive the full payment and other documents required by you.

Change in Plans

For any changes you make to your reservation that affect destination, departure date or program extensions, per-person administrative charge (as applicable) applies, in addition to any cancellation charges or applicable fees imposed by hotels, airlines, service provider or supplier. For changes made within 30 days of your original departure date, our cancellation policies apply. All changes are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.

If you wish to transfer to a different holiday or change the name in which the booking has been made within 4 weeks of booking, we will do our best to make the necessary changes. There will be an administration charge for this you will also be subject to the charges being levied by the service provider, suppler, hotels or airline. Changes made within the balance due period (12 weeks prior to departure) will be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and cancellation charges will be applied as shown in the section below marked ‘Cancellation Charges’.

Change in Plans by Bat Travels.

We reserve the right to make changes both before and after your booking has been made taking into consideration the availability and circumstances in each case such as war, riot, civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial dispute, natural or nuclear disaster, technical problems with transport, closure of airports, changes of schedules by scheduled airlines, adverse weather conditions, act of god, fire and all similar events outside our control. If the changes are being the same shall be intimated to you in writing by us. In such situations you can choose to accept the alternative travel arrangement made by us. In case you do not choose the alternative arrangement then we shall refund you the processing fees however you would be subject to cancellation charges being levied by the supplier, service providers, hotels, airlines and any other third party entity involved.

Late Booking

Reservations made within 30 days of the tour departure may require 48 hours for confirmation. There is a late-booking fee of 20%(might exceed depending on the availability of flight tickets and hotel rooms) when reserving 15 days or less prior to departure. Our Packages are subject to availability within 30 days of departure and may incur late fees or higher cost in case of late bookings.


When you cancel a trip, we must ask you to notify us in writing. Exceptions to these policies cannot be made for any reason. Cancellation refunds will be calculated as to the date we receive your written request. You will be required to pay the applicable cancellation charges. Processing fees would be non-refundable for each trip you cancel. The person making the payment is subject to cancellation charges. The refundable money will be transferred to the concerned bank account within 5-7 working days. If unforeseen circumstances require a change to the trip itinerary, we will make every effort to select alternative hotels of the same standard and to keep modifications to a minimum. We reserve the right to cancel a trip for any reason. In such an instance, we will refund all payments received, which will constitute full settlement.

Cancellation of Your Trip by Us

We reserve our right to cancel you trip before or during your trip if you fail to comply with all or any of our terms. If in our opinion you are Medically unfit to travel, are non corporative, are failing to observe the rules, or are endangering the health, happiness or comfort of Bat Travels or any of it customers or associates without any notice or refund.

Privacy Policy

All the private and personal details submitted on the website will remain confidential. This includes bank and credit card details, as well as personal details like email ids and address.

Medical Issues

You must advise us in writing, at or prior to booking, of any physical, emotional or mental condition which may require professional attention during the trip or may require the use of special equipment. If you fail to disclose any such conditions, we may refuse to allow you to take the trip and you will forfeit the trip cost; and in such event we shall have no liability, financial or otherwise. If you are so challenged, you must bring and be responsible for all necessary items related to your condition. If any such condition arises after the trip is booked, you must advise us in writing immediately. Failure to advise us shall release us and all professional personnel from any liability related to such condition or its treatment. We cannot accommodate women past their sixth month of pregnancy.


Children 14 years or older are welcome on any of our tours if accompanied by an adult. A certified copy of a birth certificate will be required.

Health and Fitness

We will send you information on the physical requirements for your trip with your pre-trip materials. In some cases, you may want to discuss these with your doctor. Your health and safety during your trip are our first concern, but Bat Travels is not a medical facility. You should be in good health to participate in our active vacations.

We reserve the right to decline any trip participant whose condition, in our opinion, may affect the health, safety or enjoyment of other participants. We are not responsible for the costs of any medical treatment you may require during the trip. Under no circumstances we are responsible for the quality of medical care, or lack thereof, you may receive while on the trip. We strongly recommend that you obtain medical and dental insurance that will cover the cost of any medical and dental assistance you may require during your trip.


Our responsibility is strictly limited. As a tour operator, we organizes, promotes, and sells tour programs consisting of certain travel services, including surface, air, and water transportation, sightseeing excursions, and cruise/barge/hotel accommodations that we purchase or reserves from various suppliers (collectively, “Suppliers”). We do not own or operate any of these Suppliers. The Suppliers providing travel services for our tour programs are independent contractors and are not agents or employees. As such, we are not responsible for any negligent or willful act or failure to act of any Supplier or of any third party. Some tours include visits to shops and merchants. We are not responsible for any purchases you make during your trip, whether that merchant is part of the scheduled itinerary or not. By utilizing the travel services of the Suppliers, you agree that you will be responsible for Suppliers for any accident, injury, property damage, or personal loss to you or to those traveling with you, and that neither us nor any representative of our’s shall be liable. Without limitation, we are not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to person or property, death, delay, or inconvenience in connection with the provision of, or failure to provide, any goods or services occasioned by or resulting from—but not limited to—acts of God or force majeure, acts of war or civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of accommodations, mechanical or other failure of airplanes or other means of transportation or for the failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time, sanitation problems, lack of medical care, or for any other cause beyond our direct control.

To the extent that we are involved in booking air, barge and/or cruise transportation for you, we act as your agent and not as an agent of the air carrier and/or cruise line. For all other purposes, we do not act as an agent for any party whatsoever. We reserve the right to correct promotional or pricing errors at any time, or to increase the program price in the event of cost increases due to changes in airfares, cruise fares, barge fares, currency fluctuations, park fee increases, taxes, or fuel surcharges. We reserve the right to decline to accept or retain any person as a member of any tour or to cancel or alter the tour without notice, in which event your sole remedy shall be a prorated refund for any unused portion of the trip. Hotels and other accommodations are subject to change.

We reserve the right to take photographic or film records of any of its tours, and to use any such photographic or film records for promotional and/or commercial purposes.

Applicable Law

This relationship shall be governed by the Indian Laws. Any claims against us shall be subject to Mumbai Jurisdiction.

Minimum Participation

All our trips and their extensions are limited to no more than 30 passengers. All trips and trip extensions require a minimum number of participants to operate. We reserve the right to change the departure date of any trip, as well as cancel any trip or optional extension that does not reach a minimum level of participation.

If we change a departure date for any program to another departure date that departs within 14 days from the original departure, cancellation charges as described in this document still apply should you subsequently decide to cancel.

If we cancel any optional extension for which you are booked, cancellation charges as described in this document still apply should you subsequently decide to cancel the base (main) portion of your trip. We will not reimburse for any personal expenses due to changes in itineraries or tour cancellations, such as prepaid hotel expenses or airline tickets.


All international programs require a valid passport. All passports must contain at least five blank pages and must be valid for six months after the completion of your trip. All information on your passport including name, passport number and expiration date are needed at time of booking.


Travel Insurance is vital part of your arrangements. We strongly recommend that you have taken our adequate insurance for the duration of your journey. We may be able to arrange travel insurance for you and provide you a quote only on personal request.

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from all claims, demands, and damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature, known and unknown including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of a breach of your representations and warranties set forth above, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.
